Mrs. Reed's 4th graders at Golden Elementary are getting into the spirit of the Lunar New Year by crafting beautiful lanterns!

Jake Singhavong, known as Mr. Jake at Colony, is getting a high five today from Mrs. Bajenaru. Not only does he teach amazing SEL lessons, but he’s also a first-time author. He has taught her students breathing exercises and how to treat others with kindness and respect. Through the book he wrote and read to her class, her students learned about the Lao culture and language. Thank you, Mr. Jake!

This past week, the students at Perdew Elementary were treated to some fresh fruits and veggies from Old Grove Orange, a local farm. Our amazing Child Nutrition team organized this event, and it was a huge success. Our Etiwanda students learned about different types of produce and how important they are for their growing bodies. Way to go, Child Nutrition!

Little Soapy Scientists!! This past week, Etiwanda Colony CLOUDS, Mrs. Mobley, and Mrs. Rivera's preschool kids learned all about predictions and had fun doing experiments. They learned how to make their own bubble solutions by making predictions, mixing solutions, testing, and discovering the outcome. They love STEAM!!!

The Terra Vista Timberwolves are ushering in the Lunar New Year with vibrant celebrations all over campus!

We have a wonderful author event coming up that is fun-filled and supports our school libraries. There will be engaging activity stations, puzzles, crafts, and a drawing for prizes. In addition, Nick Bruel will be giving a presentation on Bad Kitty, as well as a live drawing demonstration and an interactive Q&A session with the audience! After all the fun, Nick Bruel will be available for book signings and photos with fans.

Lily and her family appreciate that Mrs. Courtney always goes above and beyond for all of her students. One of the many ways she shows her support is by attending games and performances for her students after school and on weekends.
