Falcon Ridge is giving a shout out to Adriana, campus support extraordinaire, who sprung into action when a student was choking. Her responsiveness was incredible!


The West Heritage Eagles want to give a special shout-out to their kitchen manager, Kim De Alba. She is the heart and soul of their breakfast and lunch program. She goes above and beyond to create a smooth and positive dining experience for their students. They appreciate the positive interactions and warm smiles she imparts daily. She may feel behind the scenes, but her impact is immeasurable. They are very fortunate to have her on their team.

The Grapeland Grizzlies are showing their true awesomeness today with this amazing show of school spirit! Go Grizzlies!


Ms. Houghton's kindergarten class did a science project based on corn after reading the book "Corn is Maize, the Gift of the Indians" by Aliki. They tried to grow corn from kernels, watching them change over time. Students were able to take home corn kernels and watch them sprout and grow for an at-home experiment! Way to go, Grapeland Grizzlies!


Materials will be on display at every school site and the district office for the public to view until March 7, 2023. We encourage our educational partners to preview the material and submit feedback.


Shout out to DW Long Elementary' s amazing front office crew: Ms. Monica and Ms. Melinda! Every day, they're ready with a smile to answer all student and family questions and make DWL run like a well-oiled machine. Let's show our appreciation for their hard work and dedication!

Today is National Education Support Professional Day, and we are so thankful for all the amazing things our support professionals do to provide excellent education to our students! A big shout out to the Grapeland Student Council and Grapeland families for their generous contributions to their canned food drive! Their donations will make a big difference and help the Neighborhood Food Pantry in Rancho Cucamonga provide meals for those in need!
