Today, we're giving a high five to the members of SEAC, a student advisory group. They have met with a district advisor a few times this school year to give feedback on programs at their school sites. Throughout the meetings, they are engaged, kind, and responsible.
Wow! Got to observe 5th grade students engaged in plotting on a coordinate grid. They were ultra-focused and it was amazing to see the work produced by Caryn 5th graders. So proud of them!

Samuel Matthew, Abheri Surredi, and Jupharnoor Singh are the top three spellers from last night, with Jupharnoor Singh, an eighth-grader from Heritage Intermediate, taking first place. #EtiwandaExcellence

Wow, these Caryn Cougars are so lucky that this past week they were able to turn Mr. T and Mrs. Parker into human sundaes. What excellent sports the Caryn school administrators are. The students were recognized for their efforts with the school's fall fundraiser! - Happy Sunday!
Mr. Nguyen, one of our amazing teachers from Caryn Elementary, is receiving a high five today from the Cuaresma family. They appreciate Mr. Nguyen's sincerity and caring towards the Caryn community. They love Caryn, and they know that Mr. Nguyen is a big part of why they do.
A huge shout out to Mrs. Bowne and Mrs. Lara for all you both do for our B.O.B. program. Todate we have 103 students that have met their 2nd goal. Way to go Caryn Cougars!
Our employee spotlight this week shines on Ms. Shanese, an instructional aide from Caryn Elementary. She enjoys learning new skills and strategies to support students and teachers. Whatever tasks need to be done, Ms. Shanese jumps right in to lend a helping hand.

During the week of November 7–11, 2022, we are celebrating National School Psychology Week to highlight the important work our school psychologists do to help all students thrive.
Mr. Rudy, the incredible custodian at Caryn Elementary, is receiving a high five today. We agree with the Caryn family that nominated Mr. Rudy. He is so helpful and kind to all the students, especially at drop-off and dismissal. He is always there with a smile and a helping hand.
