Greetings West Heritage Families,

I hope you are enjoying your summer vacation.  Please make
sure you are reading on a daily basis.  If you aren?t, please go
to the library and get a book.  The school year will be here before 
we know it!<p>

Kindergarten orientation will be on Friday, August 5, 2011 at 9:00 AM
for morning kindergartners and 11:30 AM for afternoon kindergartners.
Orientation is important for parents and students to attend so please 
make arrangements to be at the orientation.  This is your opportunity to 
meet your child?s teacher and to learn about the specifics of the class.
We will not have orientation on the first day of school for kindergarten 
and parents will not have much of an opportunity to speak with teachers 
on the first day of school.

Your child?s teacher and room assignment for kindergarten will be 
posted on the office door on the afternoon of Thursday, August 4, 2011
at 4:00 PM.

For students in grades 1st ? 5th, your classroom assignment will be posted
on the afternoon of Friday, August 5, 2011 at 5:00 PM on the office windows.
Back-To-School Night for students in grades 1-5 is Thursday, August 25, 2011
from 6:00 PM ? 7:30 PM.

Our first day of school is on Monday, August 8, 2011.  Please make sure 
you are at school and prepared to learn.
